First Word: "More!"

My daughter (13 month old) has started forming her first words. Of course there is the usual "Da!" which is also a german word ("There!") but she does not use it consistently and in a meaningfull way. The first word she DOES use consistently and in the context of food, and in only that context, is "More!" (or "Mehr!" in german). Usually she points on the table in front of her where she expects the food to show up, now!

I have no idea from where/whom she got that attitude.

My daughter (18 months) has been pointing and screaming "Maar" for several months now, this has expanded from meaning food, to Blues Clues, the cellphone, the keys or anything else which she wants!

My niece used "Da!" to query what something is called. She loved being carried around, pointing to things and asking "Da!". When you told her what it is, she was happy.
And she loved double checking. Sometimes there were four things, and she made a game out of pointing at them and asking. She'd query them in different orders, and was happy when you said the same word again.
